The latest addition to our collection of candles is Layered Animals. To the best of our knowledge no one else is making this type candle.

Each individual layer is cut out using a scroll saw. Developing the wax formula which allows us to make the cut and then get the pieces out of the block of wax took about 3 years. (Regular wax gets heated up as it is being sawn and melts back together behind the saw so the pieces won't come out.) The pieces are then glued together with a special wax glue, dipped to give them a smooth finish, and individually hand painted.
